It’s a sobering experience to visit Pearl Harbor. I’ve been there many times and I learned something new each time. The tears were generous for those we lost and those who survived.

Same here. I participated in the annual Pearl Harbor Day memorial services almost every year while living on the Big Island from 2000-2019, when I moved to Idaho. It was sobering to watch the numbers of survivors decreasing ever more rapidly with each passing year . . .
