Companies definitely want their employees back in the office at least part time

I got 50 to 75% from my people working for the state. No regular business can get that king of production and stay in business. MHO

I work in the aerospace manufacturing industry and there was no lockdown for us. We can't build airplane parts at our homes, so working remotely was never an option.

It came with a small price. from Dec 2019 to Feb 2020, only one out of 11 people in the front office remained Covid free, never caught it and several of our production crew caught it one point or another. We are small business, 35 to 40 employees during that time frame. Most of us that did have the opportunity to develop natural immunity, missed two to three weeks of work. I was out from 28 Dec '19 to 12 Jan '20.

This will not be a easy transition for some who have enjoyed working outside away from their normal place of work! I have heard stories about workers who are refusing to leave their house! Some are simply leaving their company! Remote learning and work is not as productive for many! I also have seen a rise in posting of positions especially for those who strive working from home!

It's going to be an adjustment for some. The pendulum always swings back and forth.
