I live trap probably two per year and drive them 4 or 5 miles away to different sets of woods to turn them loose, get an Opossum about every other year, same thing. The only animals I usually kill are Ground Hogs because they are destructive to the garden.

MSgt Dale Johnson I’ve got a Ground Hog that lives in my pasture by the house. We don’t have livestock anymore so he is allowed to be a permanent resident now. A local wildlife rehabilitator had one for a pet. Used a litter box and walked on leash. He said it was the best and most affectionate pet he ever had.
