The Titanic wasn't titanic by today's standards, was it? BTW, it wasn't the ship compartmentalized with watertight bulkheads. Nine-masted junks of the Chinese Treasure Fleet in 1421 had those

Like all people and actions, ships have to be judged in the time they existed according to those standards, but you are right we have some monsters out there today. It looks like the Chinese were ahead of everyone back then.

I never watched the movie, always thought it was a movie about two lovers, not about a ship.
The Titanic, was just a vehicle to get you to go watch the movie.

I know that many liked the movie, I liked the, "El Sid" movie back in the 60's too.

It was said, "Any man can take a life, a King, can give a life"

SFC (Join to see) - If I'm not mistaken, Charlton Heston was the actor.

SGT (Join to see) - Yes he is. I believed I saw all the movies he was in. I guess I missed a few. :)

It was Charlton Heston, with a bonus, Sophia Loren with her beautiful eyes.
