You two do realize that a vote against the spending bill is also a vote to suspend your retirement pay, don't you?

Trump was more straight with the public than any democrat in history. I just don't pay attention to his personality. Unlike weaker people.

CMSgt Marcus Falleaf - Trump is a pathological liar, whose remarks were far more untrue than any other president in history. Corruption was rampant in his administration. It was terrible watching what he did, and is still doing, to my former political party.

Capt Gregory Prickett - Trump isn't doing anything to the GOP, it is the radicals in the party that allow him and baby Trump DeSantis to flourish. The people doing it are well educated as I lean right and people are very willing to share. Had an article sent to me about issues with COVID vaccine and it going directly into the bloodstream. Well written with measurable outcomes and as a seasoned RN, full of dogsh*($. I cannot fix or make this up and am closure to being a libertarian everyday.

MAJ Byron Oyler - You're right, Trump's not the one causing members of the GOP to lose their minds, along with their integrity. There is a causal link, however.

We need to get back to politicians voting with what their constituents want and not party lines.

I'm not sure we'll ever know what constituents want again. I can't find an honest media and I sure can't trust the area I live. The state seems to be on track though.

Agree, we need to start a system where they pay down the debt by at least a little each year, but they will have to raise taxes to do it. Since many People, Corporations, and Businesses seem to be good at balancing the books and owing nothing at the end of the year add a caveat that they must pay an additional 1 percent of whatever (it would be different for a person versus a business or corporation) and must be applied to the debt.

I wonder if you all realize that a full 25% of the current U.S. National Debt was accrued under Trump? Why weren't you screaming about the National Debt then?

Every unit i was ever with went by the rule "you have to spend all your money or you won't get as much next year as you did this year". Not a good plan.
