This is why higher education isn't what it used to be and in many instances isn't seen as a good item on a resume these days. I know before I hired people, I looked at their schooling, activities, interests, and work history equally.

Colleges and universities are insulated from the real world and granted special rights and privileges by government, some of which they shouldn’t have. It’s been my experience typical college/university leadership is so pigheaded they can’t see further than where their endowments end. That’s all they react to. MHO
