I can’t understand how so many people don’t know what they should have been taught in Grade School, the Soviet Union was not Russia. The Soviet Union never because Russia. We can’t help what people think based on their ignorance.

I don’t know if I care for what this person is teaching our young, basically that all our states were sovereign nations before the joined the United States. To the best of my knowledge the only state that was a sovereign nation before joining the United States was Texas, and even then, it’s not a good analogy. Texas was a Republic that voted to enter a Democratic Republic, The United States of America. To the best of my knowledge the countries that entered the Soviet Union were set up as puppet nations and weren’t Democratic Republics, nor was the Soviet Union a Democrat Republic. MHO’s
