If only more news personalities (Tucker is an opinionated personality not a news anchor) questioned the party they are perceptively linked to, journalism might get some credibility back. Kudos for going against the grain and trying to get folks to engage their brain juices

Lindsey Graham is a quick knee jerk reaction politician. His rhetoric is just that. Reagan would not just start shooting down Russian planes. He would have started diplomatically by condemning the shoot down, then he would start an information campaign, then he would hit them economically, then if all that failed he would use military force...that is how Reagan would have done it. He wouldn't have gone off halfcocked like Lindsey Graham and start popping off rounds at Russian Jets...that is how full on wars get started. Now there may come a time when we have to start firing rounds but we are not there yet and I believe Reagan would agree.

I agree with Tuckers premise but we need to leave Reagan out of it....and focus on what our current CINC should and needs to do. Graham is all talk and mostly no substance. He has good ideas but his methods of getting them across are not honed too sharp.

President Reagan used strength through diplomacy while Graham appears to leverage actual force a bit too easily. As usual context is always everything.
