I am still wondering how offering her hush money is illegal, immoral yes I get that,but the illegal issue. Is it going to be that he supposedly use Campaign Funds?

My understanding - and it is a very shaky understanding - is that he lied on his business forms, thereby committing fraud, which is a crime.
Is the prosecution politically motivated ? Almost definitely. But is it valid? Quite possibly.

By themselves, neither charge is much (misdemeanor for the records and fines regarding election law), but Bragg has elevated it to a possible felony charge by putting forth the view that it was "intent to defraud" by tying it to a second charge of a violation of election law (due to his view the payouts were an 'improper in-kind donation' to the campaign).
Mr. Bragg is pursuing both charges - falsifying business records and violation of New York election law, but he's 'hanging his hat' on his stance that Trump violated election law. If he can prove that, then he will say the records were done "in the furtherance of another crime".

COL Randall C. - The campaign 'in kind' contribution doesn’t work because if President Biden had to pay back all the money the FBI spent (this is a 'in kind' contribution) to keep Hunter Biden’s laptop known as Russian disinformation, he would be broke, even with all the money his Family made from China. Not to mention he would be in jail until he is 105 years old. :)
