The United Nations' Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has just published one of its most significant reports in decades. UN chief Antonio Guterres has called it a "survival guide for humanity".
The report outlines how the world has changed due to climate change - and, crucially, that the time to act is now. It outlines how clean energy and technology can be exploited to avoid the growing climate disaster
Governments had previously agreed to act to avoid global temperature rise going above 1.5C. But the world has already warmed by 1.1C and now experts say that it is likely to breach 1.5C in the 2030s.
