"Washington Post has reported that the person responsible for the leak of highly sensitive Pentagon documents used to work at a "military base" and is a "young, charismatic gun enthusiast". The documents were posted by him in a chatroom formed by two dozen other boys and men on Discord, an instant messaging platform popular with gamers."

First of all, why would an anti-war guy be in the guards? He wanted a free ride, obviously.
Secondly, what the hell does a 21 year old even know about Ruby Ridge and Waco? That's an indoctrination issue in and of itself.
Third, What was the failure in security that allowed this kid access to the files he downloaded?

I was in charge of TS documentation for a time before I got out. I got to see some unbelievable things, but it never entered my mind to share what was in those cabinets.
Being on Subs, you had a Secret Clearance in general. In my division, we had TS. It was mainly regarding our equipment, but we all knew we didn't say anything operationally outside the boat.

This guy was trying to sound important to a bunch of kids in a social media chat room.
People like this are very dangerous, and he needs to be put away for a long time. I won't call it treason, but release of classified documents is punishable by jail time.
