I haven’t shot the 30 Super, but I have fired a Hi-Point carbine in other chambering. Found it easy to shoot and very accurate out to 75 yrds (that was the size of the range). Can’t argue with the price either. If I wanted a semiautomatic defensive rifle in a handgun caliber, I would definitely think about the Hi-Point SGT (Join to see).

I also have the carbine for my wife with a red-dot scope she can drive nails in the triangle at 150 meters. At 200 meters the drop is so much she only shoots their balls off. She says its a toss-up. does she want to kill a group of attackers ro does she only want to shoot the 'dickens' off of one so the rest will 'steer' clear. Both puns intended.

SFC Ralph E Kelley LMAO at the puns. Interesting that it is pretty accurate out to 150 yrds.

I bought the .40 cal version when Obama was elected - mentioned just to date the time period; but it's also why I bought one. At the time, I wanted an AR but couldn't afford one and the AK was only available in 9mm.
The .40 came with a 4x scope and I didn't have to adjust it at all. It was spot-on and as accurate as any other carbine I've fired. For the price, it's an outstanding firearm, though limited by only a 10 round magazine.

.30 SC is designed to give extra capacity for the same size magazine. It is also actually .32 cal, but marketed as .30 because to most .30 cal is thought of as “powerful” due to the .30 rifles out there; whereas .32 is thought of as “weak” due to the .32 ACP.
