This time of year is tough for anything to maneuver on the ground, and with air superiority at a deadlock, there won't be a whole lot of direct combat for a month or so, in my opinion.
There will be rockets and artillery, but beyond that this is a time to regroup.

This Submariner didn't until getting into the Oil and Gas industry. Mud is a problem in our North Dakota locations this time of year. The stuff is like permafrost. It holds an ungodly amount of moisture and warm it up just a little, it releases all that stored up water onto the site creating a giant mud bog.
