Pretty simple....speaking engagements and book deals between leaving the VP office and becoming President.

Thanks for a very informative article sir.

“In February 2017, Joe Biden was also named the Benjamin Franklin Presidential Practice Professor at the University of Pennsylvania, a post that earned him a $372,000 salary that year.” How much money did China give the U of Penn?

From the article I’m sharing: According to their tax returns, in 2017 and 2018 the Bidens and his wife Jill avoided payroll taxes on nearly $13.3 million in income from book royalties and speaking fees. They did so by classifying the income as S-corporation profits rather than taxable wages.”. Who would think! Joe and Jill Biden Tax cheats.

If I had a bit more time I would dive into where CelticCapri and Giacoppa get their money from, but I just don’t have the time right now.

SFC (Join to see) - Well, we don't know if China gave any money to Penn specifically for his role, but we do know that Penn has almost $21B in endowments. So, it's not like they needed any supplemental money from China. Maybe the money came from the donations Trump and his father made to help get their family members into Wharton. That would be ironic.

LTC Kevin B. - That could well be sir... but to steal a phrase that was used very often during 2016 to 2020: Where there's smoke there's fire!
It's always funny when the shoe is on the other foot. At least in this case there is real evidence not just the say so of haters (there's been on both sides). I'm sure banks didn't make up the transfer of money from foreign interests. I hope the University didn't keep transferring the Chinese money, that's the definition of money laundering.

Fair question. To many people, it really doesn't matter.

Sadly, it doesn't matter to many. Speaking as one who had to submit several income surveys as a condition of employment yearly, we need to look much more carefully at them. No slap on the wrist and fine when they officials violate condition of employment. MHO
