The advice to fish or cut bait is right on target. Regardless of any decision Barr made the investigation has never stopped. Funneling all info through one person was an efficient thing to do. How long should it take to do these things?

I couldn't vote for Clinton because of the private server and email fiasco and said so at the time. I have read the full 49 page indictment of the ex President and it is even worse. I have said in a previous discussion on this site that if this proves to be true, Trump will not receive my vote. I will be looking elsewhere........who will be my write in?

SP5 Dennis Loberger - I don’t know. In my mind quantity doesn’t mean quality. I scanned through this, and I see a lot of questionable judgements that may or may not have been taken out of context. The bottom line is the material in question has a verified custody chain unlike Biden’s classified documents that were in close proximity to Chinese Agents. They make it appear the amount of material is great by listing all the boxes but a responsible accusation would have listed each document. If it were 10 million documents, say 10 million.
I suppose at the end of the day what gives me the most heart burn about this is that mishandling classified documents that high ranking officials have historically been a civil, not criminal, matter for our highly elected officials. That doesn’t let them off the hook, but it gives context to what is happening now.
All the pages in this indictment… and there are really very few facts, just general statements. It would have been more appropriate to have the folks in charge of Presidential Records to hash out all the items they were interested in with Trump like what happened with past infractions with others, then after an impasse begin an investigation. That didn’t happen here, the DOJ under Biden went straight into a DOJ/FBI investigation that had the residence searched with guns drawn.
It was political from the get-go. Everyone can see that. The Progressives are happy because after 6 years of hearing Trump is a criminal who will be in jail shortly (for false Russia charges) they are finally getting their shot at him. It is really a sad day in our Country’s history. Equal Justice Under the Law died in our Country yesterday when our nation’s top law enforcement agencies decided to destroy a political enemy and take official action against him. If anyone believes in Rule of Law, in my opinion they just can’t be for what happened.

I am not a lawyer. I am neither Democrat nor Republican. I will not retry the Clinton situation, I have already expressed my outrage. My synopsis of what is wrong with this situation are just questions: Why did he take them in the first place when he clearly knew it was wrong? Why did he not give them back when it was found out? Why did he have one of his henchmen move the boxes to one place and then move a fewer amount back? Why did he lie to his lawyer? Why did he ask his lawyer to bite the bullet and take one for the team? Why did he show them to people while bragging about having them? I cannot express outrage over other cases and not this one. As I have said before, I don't like the idea of any former President being in jail. It is a bad look for the country. I was born in Illinois and lived there a good chunk of my life. I take no pride in the fact many of our Governor's have been imprisoned. The answer to a broken justice system is not to fix it by letting everyone off because others got off. As always, I appreciate your reasoned and civil discourse when we agree completely and when we have nuanced disagreements

SP5 Dennis Loberger - The answer is not to let people off, but to treat them as others historically have been treated for the same offense. That means civil court until more is proven. This is a 100% political prosecution. When senior law enforcement goes off the rails there is no one else to hold them accountable that "we the people". MHO
Oddly enough I am a Democrat. I stay that was so I can vote in primaries.

It sure did ma'am. I used to like Barr but for being so smart, sometimes he just can't see when he's being used by the other side (Progressives, Socialists, Communists). They play by different rules.

Ray Stevens - The Streak (Original)
"The Streak" is from the album called Boogity Boogity and was Ray Stevens' eleventh studio album, released in 1974, as well as his sixth for Barnaby Records...
