I have sympathy for those who feel they are in the "wrong body" but no one should be making that decision before adulthood...the reprocussions are much too serious.

Lt Col Charlie Brown Transgenderism is a mental illness and nobody should be allowed to even begin before intense phycological services along with meeting a dozen who have transitioned. and talked to them about whether it was the right thing to do or not. I don't think these kids understand this is irreversible.

And yet, the US military complains about service and veterans suicides, but they'll openly recruit the demographic group with the highest suicide rates in the nation.

This article is common sense. The truth is universal. People who need "GOOD" counseling and/or mental health support sometimes look for an easy fix. There are no easy fixes and when they realize how screwed up they made their life... well at least we have data that shows the truth of it. For some it may be the answer, but they need to think long and hard "and be an adult" before they start popping pills and getting body parts cut off. MHO
