If this past week is any indication, we’re going to need a lot more. The stress on the electric grid from the heat and HVAC units that can’t keep up has caused rolling brown outs some places and complete loss of power in others. I’d hate to be driving an electric car about now. I’m in the flight path of the base that refuels. I hear the takeoff and come back and think about how much gas that takes and then I think of all the flights that are people traveling. Our efforts are no more effective than dropping a grain of sand into the Grand Canyon and expecting it t fill up.
