The mainstream media is complicit in making government shutdowns "The Republicans Fault." Fact is, it takes two sides uninterested in compromise to make an impasse. Because of the left media bias, the GOP always blinks first. The Democrats have a repeated history of reneging on the promises they make to get compromise.

The electorate lives in the now and doesn't think about the consequences to the following generations. I do and I say shut the federal government down and shut it down for a long time. Our grandkids need us to do the right thing.

Kick it down the road, that strategy has worked up to now.
