When You are a presiding Judge You have to be very careful what You have say especially about people that as yet haven't been convicted of any crime. I have seen Judges actually removed from the bench for that sort of thing. (one I knew was removed from presiding on any trails for three years) A Judge is supposed to be impartial and not make any conclusions or statements prior to or during the trial's actual final conclusion after hearing all the evidence as determined by either that individual Justice or a jury, then statements can be made. Trump Himself of course puts His foot in His own mouth on a regular basis and can be His own worst enemy. It's not so much making a statement but often can't figure out where to stop and be quiet.

SGT (Join to see) - That would apply to anyone serving as a Judge at any level, state or Federal. I'm not familiar with that Federal judge on Trump's case and overall performance and the Judge I knew that got removed from the bench actually did have a good record as a Justice but only one pre trail statement about a defendant got them removed from the bench so it could possibly happen. The case I mention also was a result of a complaint filed by the Defense Attorney in a criminal Trial.

Clearly he is terrified of her prime ability to hold him to the fire.
