It couldn't happen to a nicer institution. My time at Portland State made me value my conservative beliefs even more. I made sure my writings professed them every chance I got, just to be that poke in the eye. The progressive mind rot was on display in full in the late 90's and early 00's.
But then being told my military service supported imperialism will do that to you. I fired back that Marxism killed more people than supposed US imperialism ever did.

Exactly so. I attended graduate school in the late '80s and the Marxist rot was festering then.
