"He had been hired through a Pentagon program for retired military brass as an expert with the experience and skills to bring "enlightened thinking" to the military, according to the Pentagon's description of the program. The Army paid $50,046 for his work from November 2020 to August 2021, and $18,952 from September 2021 to June 2022." --- Of all the people to hire, they chose him? Also, literally no one who had ever worked under him when he was in the military was surprised he made that tweet. At all.

A quip about a non-elected non-official by a retired officer warrants both an investigation and being suspended for the duration of your contract.

But repeated open statements about the CinC by an active General warrants an attaboy.

Nothing to see here.
