QUOTE FROM THE COMMENTS - "Audrey actually did have Insecurities. She often said she thought her neck was too long and her feet were too big. She was also very tall for a woman at 5'7", which is why she wears flats in every movie.
Her height is one of the reasons she wasn't able to become a balet dancer (her original passion). The other reasons being she started too late because of WWII putting off her ability to take classes. She lived in nazi occupied Holland, just a couple blocks from Anne Frank.
She also was fairly conscious of her thinness, which was because of the malnourishment she suffered for a few years during the occupation.
Audrey was a beautiful person, inside and out. Very humble, very kind, and left acting after this movie with just a couple exceptions to raise her sons. When they grew up, she got into humanitarian efforts, and despite her health issues, insisted on visiting as many children as possible to help them. Despite all her fame, she never forgot where she started, and how hard that was.
I often think of her as a female Keanu Reeves. A rarity in Hollywood."
