Food for thought:
Car manufacturers, and other product manufacturers can be sued for a defective product, especially when personal injury or death occurs.
SO CAN GUN MANUFACTURERS.

Auto makers can NOT be sued because a drunk driver, terrorist or any mentally disturbed person uses a vehicle to kill anyone.
YET GUN MANUFACTURERS SHOULD BE SUED FOR THE SAME TYPE OF EVENT?

Please, don't cite commercials or advertisements - many manufacturers show both print & video ads of their products being used for exciting (and perilous) purposes. Promoting guns as DEFENSE against home invaders or other criminals is within the boundaries of reasonable use. Anyone incited to violence because of any of those ads, is simply a mentally ill person, criminal or terrorist.
Please don't say that gun ads, in any way, "encourage" or somehow motivate nuts, criminals or terrorists. If that's relevant to guns, then McDonalds should be liable for tempting obese people to overeat more.
The point is, where will it end?
