While I think he shouldn't be allowed to run I also look at his crazy supporters. If 3 years after the 2020 election they still won't admit Biden won, can you imagine the uproar if he isn't allowed to be on some ballots. Republicans will be idiots for nominating him in the first place, but if they do let him be on every ballot in the country. The whopping he will take at the polls this time might just help them see reality.

MSG Joseph Cristofaro And he's actually done more to improve this country than Trump could even think of. But I know you'll disagree, so don't waste your time telling me how great Trump was.

SFC John D. I'm old enough to remember when a presidential election was taken to court and a judge had to determine what a hanging 'chad' said about a voter's intention. I'm old enough to remember where the votes in Florida were counted so many times after the election, that reporters were almost on a first name basis with the county elections folks. I'm old enough to remember that the Lorax, AlGore (pbh), still talks about Chad and how his hanging about didn't cost him the election, judges did. But that's not election denial.

Between what he did in regards to the 2020 election and Jan 6, there should be enough to disqualify him from running again. What I don't understand is why there are way too many folks who don't want to see it, and blindly follow him, even when there is proof of wrongdoing.

What did he do on January 6th? Here's his January 6th speech. Show me the incitement to insurrection please.
I don't vote for Trump because I like him. I vote for him because the alternative offered by democrats in both 2016 and 2020 was so much worse. I'm talking policy, not personality.

The former president's remarks are being used by Democrats hoping to convict him for incitement of insurrection — and are being defended by his lawyers in the Senate proceedings.
