WASHINGTON — The military announced late Wednesday it was grounding all of its Osprey V-22 helicopters, one week after eight Air Force Special Operations Command service members died in a crash off the coast of Japan.
Is it time the Military give up on this airframe? Or since it’s still relatively new try to correct all the flaws?

MSgt (Join to see) They need to investigate the problems with this aircraft. One life is too many but we have lost way to many of our service members while using this model.

My understanding is they have been having some kind of clutch failure which has been the cause of some of these accidents.

It’s actually getting ridiculous how the DOD sticks with these bad aircraft come hell or high water.

CSM Charles Hayden - Actually I think they did. And I suspect they might be pondering that decision.
