It's to bad the administration has no desire to stop the trafficking at the source by stopping the illegal border crossing. Lt Col Charlie Brown

I you would take the time to research the subject you would discover that illegal immigration has very little to do with human trafficking. The true facts are that human trafficking is actually a long term grooming process, frequently involving close family friends and family members.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen -
As a law enforcement officer who has sat through many briefings on this, many of the victims are here illegally.
While some are subjected to a long-term grooming process, the majority are not.
They are forced into sex trafficking, domestic servitude, forced child labor/child sex trafficking.
Some are forced into it by a "debt" owed to the trafficker who helped get them into the country, some are told they will be reported to immigration and deported if they don't cooperate, some are simply beat and kept locked up in a location and not allowed out.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - It's appreciated that you took the time to research this issue but my government sources provide different statistics. It is evident that human trafficking, including sex trafficking, is a significant concern for some individuals who cross the border illegally. Given the high volume crossing the border the percentage could remain the same but the numbers have dramatically increased.

MSG (Join to see) SPC Jeff Daley, PhD - You beat me to it. I had started writing a response, but never finished it, but basically says the same things.

Jack, I'm not sure where you're getting your information from, but there is just so much that doesn't agree with study after study conducted by the federal government (over multiple administrations) and anti-trafficking groups.

There is tremendous overlap between human trafficking with illegal immigration and human trafficking for sex or labor. A simple internet search shows a lot of left/left-leaning organizations as well as government reports from multiple administrations detailing the evil synergy between the two.

Biden should be deported because he certainly isn't one of us.

SPC Michael Duricko, Ph.D By the way, the Democrats are now "trying" to say that the border crisis is the fault of the Republicans. Unfortunately, I can not find a word in the English language that can define their demented atrocities.

My county. Due to all the national events happening in this area human trafficking is always on the watch list for law enforcement. Saw an article recently that said Florida is #2 on the list for human traffickers, don't recall if that was national or worldwide, but either would fit.
