Those under 25 years of age are the most affected because their brains are still developing. Smoking it as a teenager will be detrimental to your brain. Our family has experience with this true sad phenomenon.

I have two stepdaughters That didn't finish high school and who are addicted to smoking add cigarettes. They both failed rehab. Both are on public assistance. Both continue to drink and get drunk. One became pregnant and had to give up her kid to her biological father because she was an unfit mother from her addictions.

You can blame me or my wife. But we are both sober and we don't drink or smoke. And we don't smoke pot either but a lot of people on my wife's side of the family are drunks and druggies. We stay away from them because every major holiday. They're always arguing in their always getting drunk or stoned or both.
