Most carbines are Glock mag compatible Brother Rick. Just going with flow I guess;-)

Quite possibly the dumbest thing to do. I have to search and search for P94DC magazines in .45 cal and they do this. Jeez, talk about biting the buyers of Ruger in the butt.

It still uses Ruger Security Series mags, but you can switch to Glock Mags. Keltec and a lot of the other Pistol Caliber Carbine manufacturers have it either compatible out of the box or convertible. Why? Glock Magazines are cheap.

It's a carbine, so it basically a home defense rifle. That being said, the only reason I can think of is its a way to get Glock .45 caliber owners into their customer base.
My youngest brother has been b*tching for 30 years about the high prices of .45 carbines OR the lack of magizine compatiblities OR its the wrong color OR yadie-yack.
