This was a fad when I was in junior high school. Everybody outgrew it in a semester or two.

I remember seeing a statistic that in 1973 93% of our population identified as Christian and today I believe the number is around 65%. In my opinion it’s from a combination of hardcore opposition to having any good morals accepted in our society by people who realize it is easier to manipulate people who don’t have good moral character toward Socialist Policies the Left wants, and the many people like Chip here on RP: for whatever their reason is, they have a bad taste in their mouth for Christianity and just like the “Fun” of constantly poking at it. This last group of people is sad because they truly don’t understand how they are being used by evil. MHO
