I saw this video on YouTube. Army and Marine Corps train commissioned officers far differently.

After initial training (Service academy, college ROTC, OCS), officers go to branch schooling. Depending on either combat arms or support for Army, there are a few weeks or months of rudimentary infantry training in respective branch schools. For Marines, all do seven months of basic school at Quantico before fully focusing on branch training.
