Mostly Fields & Wooded Areas, And Great Place To Go Deer Hunting.
BUT, Because it IS So Lightly Populated, It Has But Little Political Clout,
And Why It's Known As "The Forgotten Part Of Michigan".
.. OH, Most Of Us Have Seen The Movie "Somewhere In Time".
It Was Filmed On Mackinac Island, Michigan ~~ Making It Funny To We Michiganders
Because The Main Character Drove There From Chicago.. In Addition, NO Motorized Vehicles Are Even Allowed On The Island. To Go From One Place To The Next, Or Just To Rome Around, You Have To Rent A Bicycle And Use It for Transportation... And "The Grand Hotel", Where Many Sean's Were Filmed, Has Been Closed Off The Room To Guests & Runs The Movie "Somewhere In Time" 24/7 So Everyone Can View The Movie, And Enjoy Being In The Room Where Filming Occurred.
