I believe you give her too much credit. I believe she just cared about power and money for herself; at the end of the day that's all Progressive Democrats, RINOS, and Communists care about.

The Democrats often referred to it as "walking around money." Now they just do it with taxpayer money.

'Walking-Around Money': How Machine Politics Works in America Today
The practice of handing over cash to turn out votes used to be an urban Democratic specialty. Are rural Republicans getting in on the fun?

Maj John Bell - My point is Biden is doing, to the extreme, what all politicians do: BUY VOTES!

SFC (Join to see) - There is a difference between naked buying of votes (student debt forgiveness, reparations, free cell phones, etc.) and government trying to push, prod and poke economic growth in alignment with US economic policy.
Taxpayer money should not be used for "individual welfare" as opposed to "the general welfare." Better solution stop dipping their hands so deep in our pockets and let us decide what we want to purchase and in what to invest.
Personally, I'd rather government let private sector economic forces drive private economic development, but we live in a real world where our rivals (Communist China) use full government economic policy to crush the private sector in rival nations. Unfortunately, our government has left a string of bad investments and failed companies supported by our tax dollars.

Now how is Biden who is already buy votes by forgiving student loans he doesn't have the power going to come up with money for reparations. Ms. Shirley Jackson Lee, find me any black person who lived in the U.S. and was alive in 1865 or before and I say pay them. Other wise you have had all the same opportunities as the rest of us.
