Unfortunately, you are correct. Just walk into any store today and there's a self-checkout line and some pour person sitting there monitoring the entire area. It's almost a way to increase throughput but they loose that person-to-person interaction. It's a sad state of affairs but it's the new norm unfortunately.

True. But also try to get help out on the floor of Home Depot or Lowes. In my experience if they see you looking at something and think you might have a question they do a 180 and haul ass to the breakroom lol
