PO1 William "Chip" Nagel On 9th October, 1924, the King signed the Air Order-in Council establishing the Auxiliary Air Force. (now the Royal Auxiliary Air Force). This year, 2024, the Force celebrates its Centenary, and it is referred to as RAuxAF 100.
