Soliciting a prostitute is punishable under the UCMJ for all of the services regardless of host nation laws or status as an officer, warrant, or enlisted service member.

I spoke to a Army Reserve lieutenant colonel who is also a sergeant in the LAPD. He said that it would just be a citation like a ticket in Florida. Sadly, this guy works for Special Operations headquarters. What we were discussing what would happen to him and we were guessing that he would just get a general officer letter of reprimand and be forcibly discharged from the Marine Corps. He would still get his pension.

This Colonel definitely set a bad example as a leader especially if he had discipline Officers and Enlisted Personnel for the same in the past.

Hello MSG,
That is definitely be a big issue. Years ago in Kassel Germany, the unit commander was also the unit drug dealer. At the time, if your tested hot, it was up to commander to decide to pursue it or not.
