"I can't believe they used kids"
Eastern philosophies and mindsets are, dare I say, impossible to comprehend by "Westerners". I think that has become evident to the West since the Iraq/Afghanistan involvements...just in different ideologies.

Cynthia Croft - I knew of a few friends who were killed or maimed the same way. One thing comes to mind; the bad guys taught kids how to pull the pin on hand grenades ..then secure the handle with a rubber band to keep from releasing...and then drop cleverly and oh so slowly in to a gas tank on a M151 (Jeep) The fuel cap was a huge, easy to access, and located right next to the driver seat; gas would eventually dissolve the rubber band, release the handle, and .....adios Jeep and anybody in close proximity.

The Vietnam War really typified that sometimes your friends were really your enemy.
