Typical Hospital Morgue might hold 15 bodies. 80 Refrigerated Trailers have been sent that can hold 100 bodies. These are mostly full. The average day previously there were 25 deaths at home in NYC, now during the Pandemic, there are 200 dying at home every day in NYC.

Has anyone ever been "prepared" for a pandemic? I love how those who have been castigating President Trump for not preparing for the unforeseen are tripping over the dead in their midst because they weren't prepared. No, I'm not faulting them for being unprepared (although it could be argued that they might have been responding earlier but couldn't because they didn't want to be seen as racist while they were accusing President Trump of being racist...)

CPT Durish, I don’t think anyone other than China knew that this pandemic would be like this. Though Mr. Bill Gates did talk about this a few years ago at TED conference on how we might need to be prepared for this but did anyone listen. I seriously doubt that as a Country who’s freedom is taken lightly by our politicians and some of the people in our Nation, we were never prepared. Anyone who’s been in the military know that you have a Plan of the Day, Week, Month, year, ect. There’s no master plan, no coordination, lack of communication among other things, but mostly lack of understanding what the heck is going on. Look, our social media is doing a great job bringing us the day by day news. Our Government leaders are doing the same thing but with a twisted sense of accomplishment and an agenda that behooves them. We will get through this ordeal. How long depends upon all of us. Depends upon who is leading this fight. For all the doctors, nurses, front line personnel, I Salute you and stand ready to help and assist you anyway possible. Hang in there because We All are counting on it.

It's a tough call. This is possibly a Temporary Measure. Legally they are in the care of the State until people can come in and claim them.
