The top 20 percent of folks who file a tax return pay 95 percent of the taxes.Just two years ago, it was 84 percent, according to the Wall Street Journal. So if why are democrats whining about a tax cut?

Democrat law makers don't like this bc they allow their citizens to deduct their higher State taxes when submitting their Federal Income tax. Mr. Trump wants to end this State sponsored ponzi scheme for States such as New York, New Jersey, California, ect bc taxes are another way that Democrats confiscate the citizens money to pay for unnecessary programs. BLUF- Trump wants to end the re-distribution of wealth and go back to the old days of You make it- You keep it.

Approximately 44% pay no Federal Income taxes and even get EITC. The big really rich get most of their income from long term capital investments at 14%. Those between the 44% and super rich take the haircut.
