I disagree with allowing the CIA to operate independently alongside SPECOPS troops, let alone big Army (or anyone else for that matter) period. The history supports my thought being they take risks and also have a thing for not telling the left hand what the right is doing. The article also doesn't state if their goals are in line with the goals of the administration or the services themselves which WILL lead to confusion, duplication of efforts (wasted valuable time and effort), mission creep, and a drying up of valuable resources in SPECOPS. There HAS to be a better, more efficient way to get America's goals met without a million hands reaching for the same single "apple" in the barrels.

I'd rather we just drop Bergdahl on them.
