There was an Airman(I use that term loosely, because in the AF we were all Airmen, from the lowest Airman Basic to the highest General serving.. like in the Army; all soldiers, Navy; sailors, Marines; Marine.. and so on). That was being accused of creating sit-reps.. He was no actual friend but still a fellow Airman.. I’m in the kitchen doing kitchen watch while others are at lunch.. I get the mop and wipe up some water on the floor and I look to see where it came from.. did s’body do this?... I look around .. I go put the mop back.. return.. there it is again. So I look up.. there was water((what I thought was just condensation). Then I seen a trail and followed it to the end of that line.. it was come out at a ‘T’ where 3 pipes came together.. it was over a drain so none got on the floor there.. and nobody bothered to do anything because it dripped into a drain.. I told that water on the floor was only caused by “Airman Negligence”. “Who’s that?” S’body asked. Before I could reply Our Supervisor said i think Airman Herrst means all of us, especially me because I’m building manager.” I told him and he had C.E. There in the next half hour and they put a.new “T” and some goop in the fitting to make sure it wouldn’t leak for a long time.. so what I’m getting at was not putting the blame or cause of some sitrep on s’body unless one knows for certain.. even I thought so but kept it to myself until I was certain.. (catch them in the act).
I suggested that they apologize .. (and it didn’t bother me if he didn’t accept them). And if they’re sincere in them that they offer to
Do penance.. s’thing to make up for their off-handed comments.. another Airman.. asked if I was going to. “I didn’t ever make any comment(s)” I replied.. “Did you even think he may have?” “Well..
then you need to cleanse your soul
and apologize.. to think s’thing negative is as wrong as acting on it!” Remarked Airman C.______ ..

So we need to transform not just outside but inside also.. if you only transform your shell, all you done was change your facade.. I see people On the road do stupid stuff.. and I stop myself.. don’t even go there.. don't even think About it.. forget it, it’s over,.. gee s’times it’s hard to do.. but got to keep trying..
