If action breaks out due to the Catalonian independence movement in Spain, how long before other regions, such as the Basque region, follow suit? Are we preparing to see a Spanish civil war? Will we be able to stay out of it?

Sgt Wayne Wood same. I can see Andalusia, too. That was the land of the Moors - well, most, if not all, of Spain was the land of the Moors & was a main gateway of the Islamic invasion into Europe from Africa.

I think that the article paid too little attention to culture and history, Catalonia has never been all that conformable as part of Spain, Conquered nations seldom are.
