How can I transition from Army Reserve to active Chief Warrant (153A)? Does anyone have experience with this route?

I am currently a drilling reservist looking to submit my packet for 153A. I have completed my SIFT exam and I am calling on Monday to hopefully schedule my flight physical.
My ETS date is 09OCT2020 for the reserves but I am hoping to submit this packet and go active duty. I'm not sure how to approach this situation. Does anyone have experience with going active Chief Warrant from the reserves?

Your best bet is to go to their website gowarrantnow.com , it has the most information you will be seeking for presently and in the future. There you can look up Warrant Officer recruiters in your area that could give you the best advice for the route you are wanting to take. Good luck and stick with it! I will be going to WOCS in February.

Yes, you need to talk to the branch manager. It can be done and has been done before.
