I have 3 rifles in 6.5CM. I'm sold on the cartridge and its capabilities.

Which rifles if you don't mind me asking? I'm moving up to a region wear my prospective bosses keep saying they'd have to take me hunting on a weekend, and I figured that will give me a chance to start eyeing long guns for hunting purposes.

SSG (Join to see) - I bought a Savage LRP and built 3 (forgot about one) on the AR-10 platform.

TSgt David L. ah okay gotcha. Everytime I browse hunting rifles I always end up on Savage's site. I hear great things about that company.

SSG (Join to see) - They've stepped up their game. The LRP that I have is a bit heavy for a hunting gun, but is a good shooter. The Savage price for the hunting rifles is pretty reasonable.

Didn't Ruger just come out with something else in a 6.8 Flavor? Also the 6.5 is known as a great round for long distance, I seem to recall it was considered only good for medium duty for game. The 6.5 Swede in a recent comparison was shown to be good round against Creedmoor, and its what a hundred years old?
