APOD: 2020 December 19 - Conjunction after Sunset

Good morning, Rallypoint. Today's Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) is titled "Conjunction after Sunset." Taken only two days ago (December 17th) looking west over the Alborz Mountains in Iran, the Moon provides a reference point on how close Saturn and Jupiter already are. On December 21st, they will all but merge. I hope the weather will be clear where you are.
