I had to take an Uber for the first time in four years, since my car was in the shop. The driver shows up with an absolutely beautiful car. Polished like it was going to be in a Parade. Back seat was soft leather, with a rose in a small vase on the back window. A little compartment had cold water, an assortment of those bags of chips you put in kid's lunches, and a lap blanket too. And if that wasn't enough, he had a Screen built into the back of the Passenger seat where you could watch TV or surf the Internet.
I told the guy it was the most immaculate interior I had ever seen outside a Car show. He thanked me. Then he said this:
"Yeah, my wife won't let me use it except to Uber. We clean it at the end of each day, restock everything and put a little ozone machine in it for an hour so it smells pretty every morning. She says it is our Business car and we have no business driving around in it. So at night I drive a 2003 Toyota Carola. "
No wonder the guy had a five star rating and is actually making a living off his Uber Driving.
