I know that officers are held to a higher standard, but this seems a little strict. anyone can have one DUI. although I never did. I wonder if these officers were republican ? certainly not related to the Bidens.

No. As I noted above, all servicemembers have been on notice that DUI/DWI was career suicide since before 1990 . . .
