I posted a story about my first kiss. (Hint: It did not go well.) But that was just my first kiss. My first kiss with someone I actually loved - well that was a whole different ballgame. Luckily I got that experience twice. Once with my HS sweetheart, and then when I met my Kathy for the first time. So yeah, those stick in my mind.

But since I told that little story, lots of my friends have been thanking me for letting them wander back in time for their own first kisses. One of my friends is 96 years old, and he said he was sure he had one, but it was so long ago he can't really remember. One of my HS girlfriends said she would practice her first kiss on a doll. I asked her what it was like when she actually kissed a guy. She made me laugh out loud when she said: "Well, to be honest, the doll was better." She then told me that she had a kiss while on Vacation in Aruba that knocked her sox off. I said: "Was it that good?" She laughed and said: "Well, I have been married to him for forty eight years." You gotta love that.

Another guy said his first kiss was from a dog. And he wasn't sure that counted. I laughed again. Another guy told me he kissed his girl in HS, and she had braces. They got a little carried away, and both their tongues got caught in her braces. A quick trip to the ER, a couple stitches and all was well. Except her Mom grounded her for six weeks. Another guy told me he grew up so strict in a Religious Family that he didn't "French Kiss" until he was married!

Another guy made me laugh. He said when he first kissed his girlfriend , he actually asked her how was it. She said: "Your brother is better." Talk about sibling rivalry. One of my oldest friends, she and I were always buddies, just no physical chemistry at all. We hung out a lot together. She says she doesn't remember her first kiss, but sure as shoot remembers her first hickey. She told her Mom she burned her neck with a curling iron. To which her mother replied: "You have straight hair."
