How many company Commanders/Primary hand receipt holders know what PBUSE(Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced) is, and how it works ?

Young Commanders who are fixing to sign for millions of dollars of equipment, please ask your supply sgt/supply clerk if you don't have one ask your S4/G4/Property Book Office what PBUSE is and how it can help you manage your property. Before you go see the Property Book Office ensure all your equipment is subhandreceipt down to each user.

I recommended to my CDR that he should sit down with me one day each month In order to learn and understand PBUSE. in which afterwards was very helpful for him to gain the upper hand among the other Company CDRs. Also he would give mentor me in outlook/excel and general leadership understand/philosophy which in turns helped me understand what my CDR is thinking of/ planing when it comes to planning the next training next month. Best CDR I've had so far. He didn't worry about failures on my part as long as I had 2 back up plans.

Absolutely. This is one place where you cannot "pass the buck." You will be found liable for missing equipment if you are negligent.
This becomes a full time job in the mechanized and aviation HHCs. God bless their ability to keep it all straight. Sub hand receipt accountability is crucial!
