Not too surprised. In the case of journalism I'd like to think that those grads realize they're just working for straight-up propaganda companies.
Education majors... Well, honestly it takes a specific person to have a passion for teaching, but more importantly retain that passion when, not if, they get the short end of the stick. Frankly, watching my mom get the short end of the stick over 90% of her time as a music teacher is exactly why I didn't pursue a music education degree.
