I would be interested in seeing the Chinese POV. I have and had several good friends who were there. I would like to compare both perspectives.
"So why should we all watch a movie that portrays Americans as the bad guys in the Korean War? Because “The Battle at Lake Changjin” is a movie that’s winning the hearts and minds of the Chinese public. If our next potential conflict is with China, knowing exactly how and why their attitudes are changing will be critical to either preparing for or preventing war.
The other reason is that Wu Jing is a great action star, an actor who’s as good as Sylvester Stallone or Bruce Willis at their “Rambo” and “Die Hard” peaks. Even at their most jingoistic, Wu’s movies never disappoint, and “The Battle at Lake Changjin” seems likely to be another winner from the actor."

It was said the top US general in Korea was killed in a jeep accident. 4 Star General Matthew Ridgeway took over command of the allied militaries. He had a special skill. He had a photographic memory. He remembered the faces and names of every soldier he met. When he decided to counterattack he did a recon and a map recon. He remembered details of his map recon and understood what the terrain looked like for the divisions. It also facilitated control of the divisions as they progressed by phase lines. Many consider him to have saved the war.
